If you feel “naturally inflexible” - especially through your neck, shoulders, hips, lower back and hamstrings - this workshop is designed for you. Many men carry long-held tightness from desk posture, driving, stress, lifting weights, running, or repeating the same movement patterns in sport.
This session will be guided by Frankie Arpino who is a therapeutic yoga teacher specialising in fascia release, mobility, and nervous system regulation, and runs wellbeing programmes for Imperial College London.
This session combines deep stretch+ fascia-focused release to help you move more freely, reduce stiffness, and improve how your body performs - whether you’re training hard or simply want to feel better day-to-day.
What we’ll focus on
• Neck + shoulders: desk tension, lifting tightness, restricted overhead movement
• Upper back + ribcage: stiffness that feeds shoulder and neck strain
• Hips + lower back: compression, tight hip flexors, limited rotation
• Hamstrings + calves: common restrictions for runners and lifters
What to expect
• Guided deep stretch sequences (no “pretzel poses”)
• Fascia-release techniques (slow holds, targeted pressure, mindful movement)
• Breath-led methods to support nervous system downshift (often key for releasing tightness)
• Practical take-home drills you can repeat in 10 minutes, 2–3x per week

Why fascia release + deep stretch?
Fascia is the connective tissue network that wraps around muscles and structures throughout the body. When the body is under load (training, sitting, stress), tissues can feel “stuck” or restricted and the nervous system can hold protective tension. A slower, targeted approach can help improve range of motion, joint mechanics, and stretch tolerance - which is often what people mean when they say they want to “get more flexible.”
